Resumption of public hearings in the Girouard matter

Ottawa, 5 May 2017 – The Canadian Judicial Council wishes to call attention to the resumption of the public hearings in the matter involving the Honourable Michel Girouard.

The hearings are scheduled to resume in Quebec City on Monday and will take place from 8 to 12 May, 2017 and again from 15 to 19 May, 2017 at the Québec courthouse, 300 Jean-Lesage Blvd, in room 5.02B.

Some documents were recently posted to the Council website, notably the decision of the Federal Court to dismiss the application for a stay of proceedings.
