Update regarding the Inquiry Committee established in regard to the Honourable Robin Camp

Ottawa, 4 May 2016 – The Canadian Judicial Council provided an update today on the work of the Inquiry Committee reviewing the conduct of Justice Robin Camp.

On April 14, 2016, the Inquiry Committee retained Ms. Marjorie Hickey, Q.C. as Presenting Counsel and Mr. Owen Rees as Advisory Counsel.  Directions to Counsel dated April 22, 2016 were recently posted on the Council website.

On May 2, 2016, the Inquiry Committee issued a Notice of Allegations. 

On May 4, 2016, the Inquiry Committee issued Directions to Potential Interveners.

The Council will announce next steps once they are known.
